Don’t You Always Assume….
Don’t you always assume that when people are looking at you that they are judging you?
I’m a people watcher. I love to watch people. Not because I want to judge them or ridicule them(one of my previous posts is anti-bullying), but because I find interest in how people interact, their uniqueness, and behaviors. Yes, I admit, I have thought, “what is that person thinking?” Haven’t we all?
The difference between the ‘judgers’ and the ‘watchers’ is what follows that question. The judger will continue to critique based on their own opinions and ideas. The watcher will recognize the uniqueness of the person and that they, the watcher has no room to judge being that we are all human.
I encourage everyone to be a watcher or at least take on that positive thought process! When you realize that others are special and one-of-a-kind, that they are made for a greater purpose beyond anyone’s understanding ….then you will also believe that about yourself. There is nothing greater than self confidence and being able to shake negative thoughts of your own or from others! That is how we conquer the world!
I’m a hairstylist and sometimes like to take on colors of the rainbow as my hair color. This has gotten me many, many, different looks. The secret is to not let it get to you.you. don’t take it personally. After all, they may not be thinking anything negative. They could just be admiring what makes you different, so there’s no need to beat yourself up about ‘the thing you think someone might be thinking about you’. Say that again…the thing you think someone might be thinking about you….sounds absolutely ridiculous doesn’t it?
You are here for a purpose and what makes you different will probably be the one thing that allows you to succeed. Start the process by relieving yourself of the weight of self doubt and that brought on by others.

Shake it off ( and literally do just that)
